In support of our students in French Immersion, Core French and Extended French, the following two websites can be shared with parents/guardians/ students through newsletters and school websites in support of FSL. Parents can use the FSL Homework Toolbox www.fslhomeworktoolbox.ca The resources include: audio files in English and French, video clips demonstrating instructional strategies, reference guide for specific topics,list of French language learning websites; general tips for learning French. Parents can also use: Voilà Learning Homework Help-Online Homework Help In French http://voilalearning.com/english/online-tutoring-in-french/  This is an online homework help support in French K-12 created in conjunction with the Ministry of Education. Ontario certified teachers are available to provide online support from 4-8 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for OCDSB students. Parents/Guardians/Students access the support by calling the toll-free number: 1 (866) 900 0658.

High Schools have hosted their evening Information Night's over the past three months. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the High School directly.   

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, the Independent Learning Centre and the Ontario Ministry of Education continue to partner together to bring Homework Help in Mathematics to students. This free website focuses on live math help from certified teachers for students taking Grades 7, 8, 9 and 10 Math during this school year. Key aspects of the website include:

Free online one-on-one tutoring by certified Ontario Math teachers
Interactive tutorials
Pre-recorded tutoring sessions available by topic
A full mathematics glossary and calculator
The free tutoring component of the website is available Sunday through Thursday from 5:30PM to 9:30PM.  All other aspects of the website are available at any time.
