Our student population reflects the diversity and richness of Canadian culture. Our students come from 38 countries, their parents from 74. An impressive 64% of our students speak another language fluently. The Summit Alternative Program is the only intermediate alternative setting in the OCDSB. Our school offers students the opportunity to develop their talents in the areas of academics, the arts, athletics and leadership across a number of programs.
The FPSA acronym was adopted during the 20th year of the alliance between Fisher Park and Summit Alternative
Let's talk tea
Let's talk tea is coming to FPSA this December 9th. Students are invited to the cafeteria during lunch for an hour of wellness. Tea, crafts and good conversations are only some highlights to look forward to. Keep tuned for more details to come.

Exciting new Fundraiser Equator Coffee this is 100% organic speciality coffee from a local roastery offering freshly roasted coffee every week.

Cookie Dough fundraiser
Summit School Council is doing a Cookie Dough fundraiser. Orders are due the November 30th. Order forms are available under the forms tab or in the main office. Thank you for your support.
Our Student Leaders are doing a fundraiser for the holidays in support of the charity “Free the Children”. We are selling rafiki chains. Rafiki chains are handmade bracelets made by Kenyan women to help send their kids to school and secure their futures.
Annual Gift Sale is here again!
The Fisher Park/Summit Annual Gift Sale is here again! This event is a great place for our students to do some of their holiday shopping very inexpensively while supporting families in our community. In order for the gift sale to happen we need donations of gently used books, toys, knick knacks or anything else that you think someone else might enjoy.

Our Student Leaders will be assisting in the sale of beautiful hand woven baskets, colourful textiles and stunning handbags, all artisan made and brought from Rwanda.
